Chikmagalur is a hill station in Karnataka, a state in southwest India.
Chikmagalur City takes its name from the word “Chikkamagala Uru” which literally means younger daughter’s town (in Kannada). Situated in a fertile valley south of the Baba-Budan hill range it is a nature-lover’s delight.
